UN Development Programme (UNDP)

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is the United Nations' global development network. Headquartered in New York City; UNDP advocates for change and connects countries to knowledge, experience and resources to help people build a better life. UNDP sights todeliverproficientadvice, training and grants provision to developing countries withproliferating emphasis on assistance to the least developed countries. The status of UNDP is that of an executive board within the United Nations General Assembly. UNDP is funded entirely by voluntary contributions from member nations. The organisation operates in 177 countries;focuses on facilitating countries build and share solutions in three main areas which are Sustainable development, Democratic governance and peacebuilding, Climate and disaster resilience.

Beholding the 50 years of glory, UNDP is currently working on attaining 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
